I’m Mimi and in the Spring of 2020, when it felt like the world had turned upside down, I was lucky enough to get my hands on an allotment plot – plot 15b – in the beautiful English village of Bray. A complete novice but with spades of enthusiasm, a few willing helpers and plenty of lockdown time, I’ve fully embraced the allotment life.
I’ve been very lucky to travel to, work, and live in some very special places and to build a career in sustainability, something that I care deeply about. Home for me and my little family is now the charming Berkshire countryside(ish). The product of 80’s South London, daughter of a chef and with all the influences you’d expect from an Irish/Moroccan mash up, I love to eat, drink, travel and now….grow.
Mimi at 15b was born out of a camera roll bursting with pictures of my favourite places and dishes, almost two decades of experience working in sustainability and now a leap into the world of grow your own. I hope you enjoy what I share and I’d love to connect!
